Does it matter? ^_^ I guess the members of our group will be the ones clapping the loudest?

Sherrie and I were at the CB event yesterday. I really appreciate CCA sponsoring it. Although, I got an eerie Ayn Rand-meets -John Calvin feeling. Never envisioned it :-p
My wife had to get home, so I wasn't able to stay long enough to track down meetup members. Would've enjoyed meeting all of you.
Megan, we were the couple you sat next to for a bit, the two chairs at the end of the row. Didn't know it was you until you mentioned your name later. Was going to introduce myself but then I ended up talking with Prof. Patten. Good question you threw at Dr. Paul regarding same sex marriage laws, etc. Dr. Paul's answer was what I expected, and I agree with his answer. However, I wanted to followup with another question but didn't get to it: what would he feel about state or local laws that prohibit sins against God only, i.e. morality legislation such as sodomy laws, ordinances against selling booze on Sundays.
Phil, good presentation you did. I would've loved the chance to throw some questions at you, being a fellow RP supporter. I've been going through the Blueprints lit I picked up, and as much I agree that Christian expression should not be removed from the public sphere, I get nervous when people say we're a Christian nation - nervous in the sense that this would translate to laws that give preference to Christians. E.g. school-led Christian prayer, no school-led Muslim, Jewish, or Wiccan prayers. Of course, if all schools were private, this would not be an issue :-) I have more reading to do.
