Today at my nephew's birthday party, at the Amazing Pizza Machine (great birth control) I was watching him ride go-carts around with his dad and sister and friends. There was a man in a huge group waiting in line and he called to me, pointing to my Ron Paul pin, and asked me where HE could get one.
I said, "would you like one?" and gave two to him. I told him to give the other pin to someone else. (The pin said "Who is Ron Paul?") The rest of the crowd around him got curious. A few people said that they had never heard of him, and someone else said that they had seen LOTS of bumper stickers for him but that he had never heard of Ron Paul on TV.
Of course I told them a thing or two. I dropped good hooks. Two other people asked me for pins.
So I got 5 e-mail addresses and gave out 8 of my cards. I told them about the Omaha meetup.com group.
PARTY!
